2026年10月10日9时28分，福建中沙石化10/100万吨/年环氧乙烷/乙二醇装置投氧开工，17时30分乙二醇产品分析合格顺利送入中间罐区，装置测试性开车一次成功。目前，系统运行平稳、各项参数达标，该装置的测试性开车成功，标志公司已具备乙二醇规模化生产能力，为商业化运营筑牢根基。
At 09:28 on October 10, 2026, the 100 KTA/1,000 KTA Ethylene Oxide/Ethylene Glycol Unit of the SABIC FUJIAN Project was successfully fed with oxygen for startup. At 17:30, the ethylene glycol product passed quality analysis and was smoothly sent to the intermediate tank farm, marking the first-time successful test production. At present, the system is operating stably with all parameters meeting the standards. The successful test production of this unit marks that SABIC FUJIAN has acquired the large-scale production capacity of ethylene glycol, laying a solid foundation for its commercial operation.

The 100 KTA/1,000 KTA Ethylene Oxide/Ethylene Glycol Unit is the core unit of the SABIC FUJIAN Project. It is the world's largest single-train ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol unit. Ethylene glycol is a critical basic raw material for products such as polyester fibers, PET bottle flakes and antifreeze, with steady market demand. After the unit is put into operation, it can flexibly optimize the product mix, reduce production costs, improve profitability, help extend the industrial chain and enhance corporate core competitiveness.
本次开车成功，验证了工艺、设备及安全联锁系统的可靠性，打通了乙二醇装置全流程。下一步，公司将持续优化工况，加快实现达产稳产、优产高产的目标，为古雷石化基地高端石化产业集群高质量发展增添新动能。
This successful startup has verified the reliability of the process, equipment and safety interlock system, and smooth process flow of the ethylene glycol unit. To build on this, SABIC FUJIAN will continue to optimize the operating conditions, and intensify efforts for the target of ramping to full-load and steady production, high-quality and high-yield operation.
